Mark and Denise Duffield-Thomas won the Ultimate Job in the World competition organised by Irish travel company Runaway Bride and Groom.
The Honeymoon Testers are also using their time in Thailand to add to their Guinness World Record attempt to become the most married couple in the world. They have 83 vow renewals to beat which must meet a certain criteria set by the Guinness World Records.
They have done 72 renewals around the world so far, including a ceremony with a Masai tribe in Kenya, top of a lighthouse in Ireland, on the London Eye, on the beaches of Zanzibar and Mauritius and in the desert in Jordan.
They will be staying at the Tongsai Bay and completed vow renewals 73 and 74 today on the beach and in a luxury pool villa.
Newly married Mark and Denise, from the UK and Australia are now in Ko Samui to test out several luxury honeymoon and detox resorts.
“The trip has been amazing so far. We’ve seen some of the most romantic places in the world and we’re really enjoying the stunning coastline and weather in Samui” they said.
“Ko Samui has so much to offer overseas couples. We are staying in a gorgeous secluded cottage at the Tongsai Bay resort which would be a perfect hideaway for a romantic beach honeymoon”.
